Sunny Skies, dry roads and breakfast at the Silver Diner... a great start to the New Year!! It was a beautiful sight to see 11 Corvettes lining the front curb and 21 members enjoying a delicious start to 2024. Diets start tomorrow.
Mt Holly Fire & Ice

It turned out to be a perfect day to enjoy food, street vendors, entertainers, amazing ice carvings, and of course, the famous Chili Cook-Off (looks like the group skipped the chili and went right to the beer tent). After several weeks of rain, followed by freezing temps, snow and more rain, it felt good to finally be outside!!

Operation Yellow Ribbon

Many thanks to Joe Hugo, who coordinated the Club's donation to Operation Yellow Ribbon. Members of Lakes Corvette Club were proud to be part of A Rose In December's Fill-a-Bus event, which supplied four bus loads of clothes, toiletries and nonperishable food to our oversea troops. In addition to the Club's check, all the items that filled Joe's SUV were delivered.
2nd Annual Cops N' Rodders Show

A true sign that spring has sprung!! Covers and battery tenders are packed away, the Vettes are detailed, cleaning supplies in the trunk, and we are off to the first car show of the season!! Despite chilly temps due to wind, 17 shiny Lakes Corvettes were part of an impressive display of vehicles supporting the Evesham Police Foundation.
Roebling Museum Car Show

Among the 201 participating vehicles at the Roebling show, there was a lot of competition between the large number of Corvettes entered. Lakes formed a line of 12 today and took home 6 trophies. Tough competition!
AMISH BBQ & CLASSIC CAR SHOW

The 9th Amish BBQ & Classic Car Show is set to make its return. Attendees can enjoy a day of classic cars and delicious barbecued meals. Meal tickets are priced at $10, including a chicken leg, Macaroni salad, scalloped potatoes, bread with butter, and a whoopee pie, or an option of $12 for a half chicken.
Collingswood May Fair Classic Car Show

While wet roads cancelled several of the shows in May, the 43rd Annual Collingswood May Fair turned out to be a perfect day for classic car, fine art, craft, food and music lovers. About 150 cars lined the streets, including 7 from Lakes. Taking home 5 trophies.
19th Annual Beach Bums Corvette Show

Big turnout of Lakes Corvette Club today. Thirty-two members gathered at Bay Village in Beach Haven to enjoy a day of ocean breezes and Corvettes. Beautifying the blacktop were an assortment of 112 Vettes. Twelve Lakes Corvettes were part of the competition, with another 5 visiting the show.
20th Annual Mt. Holly Car Show

Four members represented Lakes at the Mt. Holly Show today.They y reached their limit of 300 cars, consisting of a variety of makes, models and years. Cars that were turned away simply parked along High Street and enjoyed the festivities. The weather was perfect, the shops were busy, music excellent, and there was a variety of food to satisfy any taste.

10th Annual Deterding’s Family Supermarket Car Show

The Deterding Family Market is a generous benefactor of the local community and hosts this annual car show to support both the Lindenwold and Gibbsboro food banks – 100% of the proceeds is donated! Today, there were over 80 cars, 10 from Lakes. Mr. Deterding and his family made sure everyone enjoyed multiple rounds of free ice cream and water ice
Westville Waterfront Car Show

By showtime, the Lakes contingent was down to two members, joining 66 others, who defied the 98+ degree temperature to display their cars at the Show. Thankfully, there were large trees all along the waterfront, which provided plenty of shade for all. Lots of nice cars to see. Two cars, two trophies for Lakes Corvette Club!
The Vintage Automobile Museum of N.J.
Club members Karen & Sissy present Dave, the Museum's Executive Director, with a plaque to commemorate our club becomeing the first to be honored with "lifetime member" status.
