January 1, 2022
With some last-minute cancellations, it was a smaller than unusual LCC crowd which gathered to reinstate the Club’s tradition of brunch at the Silver Diner. Perusing the menu, the French toast stuffed with bananas, swirled with whipped cream and topped with real maple syrup, was replaced with an apple pie stuffed French toast!!
Mt Holly Fire & Ice (CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER)
January 29, 2022
10:00am - 4:00pm
Members looked forward to starting the day by meeting at the Diamond Diner for brunch, before heading over to Mt. Holly for their mid-winter festival. Mt. Holly’s 28-year family tradition includes about a dozen professional ice carvers, an equal number of chili chefs, and a variety of entertainment. It would have been great! Unfortunately, no one notified Mother Nature!!
